GestureTek Displays 3D Gesture Control, Multi Touch Control and ‘The Cube’ Turnkey Interactive Projection System at CeBIT 2009
Hanover, Germany, Mar 2, 2009 – GestureTek Inc., the pioneer and world leader in gesture control systems for interactive displays and electronic devices, today announced it will showcase its multi-patented, award-winning innovations in 3D based gesture tracking, multi-touch control and interactive projection displays at CeBIT 2009 in Hall 26, Stand 49, from March 3rd to 8th in Hanover, Germany.
3D Depth Tracking and Control
GestureTek’s 3D vision control system lets users control displays, televisions, PCs or other electronic devices with hand or full-body movements instead of a remote control, keyboard or other touch-based interface. Resistant to environmental distractions, the software translates a user’s 3D movements into specific computer commands, recognizing any pose or gesture in 3D space, including hand waves, swipes and finger points. Other applications include full body avatar control, two-handed and multi-touch control and hand tracking for 360º navigation control (replacing a joystick).
“As the world leader in computer vision based gesture control interfaces, GestureTek’s 3D depth tracking and control solution has already been commercially deployed in a flight simulation attraction at the Beijing Olympics, in a video game experience at CES, and in television set prototypes for major consumer electronics manufacturers,” said Vincent John Vincent, GestureTek’s President.
